Ægteskab is the Danish word for marriage. The word is combined by two words: ægte which means pure, and skab which means wardrobe or locker.

Ægteskabet is best translated with the old English word wedlock.

1/5 Ægteskab is the first of five exploratory narratives about the wardrobe that a married couple shares. Notions such as trust, jealousy and unspoken agreements are studied through shadows.
