 Coucou Bazar

Jean Dubuffet

Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris

Coucou Bazar, is the most original creation by Jean Dubuffet and it consists of major scoulpture like costumes impossible to place in the 20th century art history.

The Coucou Bazar elements were staged in the central hall: la grande Nef. In the adjoining rooms, archives and audiovisual materials elaborate the genesis and development of the show.

Finally, the public will be surprised to see wandering in the exhibition some unusual costumed Coucou Bazar .

As part of the team I created the constructional drawings for the exhibitional setup.

Reconstruction of original cloakroom stocking the costumes.
